George holds a BSc in Business Administration from Deree – The American College of Greece and a Master’s in Banking Management from the University of Exeter, UK. He has over 30 years of experience in Human Resources, having held senior HR leadership roles at Bank of Cyprus, the Lanitis Group and Baker Tilly. At Baker Tilly he served as HR Director and then Managing Director of the HR Consulting Services in Southeast Europe, advising major banking, insurance, retail, and other organisations. In December 2017, he joined Hellenic Bank to lead Human Resources. As of September 2025, and due to the legal merger of Eurobank Cyprus with Hellenic Bank, he retains the position Head Human Resources of the combined entity Eurobank Limited.
