Marios Antoniou holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, specializing in Employment Law, from Middlesex University in London. Mr. Antoniou begun his career in Human Resources in 1999 becoming the HR Manager of PHC, Cyprus. In 2001 he became the HR Manager of C.A. Papaellinas Emporiki Ltd (Alphamega Hypermarkets & Bean Bar) and holds the same title to this day. In 2007 he was appointed by the Supreme Court as a Magistrate Judge in the Industrial Dispute Tribunal of Cyprus, and in 2013 he became the General Secretary of the Pancyprian Retail Association (PASYLE).
In 2023, Mr. Antoniou was certified by the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus (HRDA) with the professional qualification of Vocational Training Instructor (EQF Level 5).
Additionally, Mr. Antoniou serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), and the Board of Directors of ECR (Efficient Consumer Response).
