Dirk Antonissen holds master’s degrees in finance/business management and mathematical/clinical psychology, plus postgraduate training in social science data analysis. He received the EAPA Global Champion Award 2019 for outstanding Employee Assistance practices globally. Starting as a psychologist/researcher at University of Antwerp (1986), he transitioned through management consulting to international business in Central Asia, founding a consulting firm in Kazakhstan. From 2000-2023, he served as CEO of ISW/Pulso Group, transforming it from a university spin-off into a recognized European workplace wellbeing company across Belgium, France, Portugal, and Greece. Following Pulso’s sale, he joined Human & Work Group in 2023, becoming EMEA Lead for Research and Insights after the TELUS integration. He held leadership positions in Employee Assistance European Forum (2007-2018).
